Bedrock blocks still present between y5 and y0 post 1.18

I was moving my beacons from y5 to y-59 in my dig site which is in a realm on ps4 and I noticed that at certain points, bedrock blocks could be found scattered between y5 and y0. This area was loaded prior to 1.18.
