World files are missing after reinstall.

After repeated failed attempts to auto-update Minecraft: Bedrock edition, I decided to uninstall and reinstall to force the update. Once redownloaded, all of my world files are missing from my computer. No old files can be found in %LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang\minecraftWorlds or C:\Users\Ianmc\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves. There are no previous versions available in these files, and there are no hidden items. Needless to say I'm very flustered and would appreciate any help.
