1.18.0 caves and cliffs update screwed up my whole flat world.

I have a city world that's almost 6 years old, when the caves and cliffs update came, the world for some reason made a huge crater around my whole city?Unable to render embedded object: File (  Why did this happen to my world, I want it fixed) not found.  I'm very disappointed!
