Account

I wanted to play with a friend but when I tried to it wouldn't show me his world so I can join. We both have the same version and we're both in beta. When I joined one of my world it said my account was disconnected but it wasn't actually and i kept trying to leave my account then log back in but it didn't work. Please help.
