My friend can't join my world for the past one and a half month.

For the past month and a half, my friend hasn't been able to join my world. And, I have the multiplayer settings on. Please, help me with this Mojang. I want to play on my world so badly with my friend. Every time, to my friend, it shows:

Unable to connect to world
