Dragon egg loss/disappearance

In the experimental version of Minecraft bedrock edition if you place a dragon egg at 317Y level or higher and accidentally hit said egg there is a possible chance for it to try and place itself above build limit, if this happens the egg disappears as a whole and cannot be regained.
