Fishing in PS4

I expect a serious randomization to occur here.  Getting three books of the general same DURING the day and none at night even during the rain shows a definite issue. It makes the whole game absolutely no fun.

2.  2359 casts for fish; 363 saddles; 110 fishing poles mending lure II Luck of the sea II; 256 bows punch I or II with Mending or Power III or IV.  THREE lousy books Smite IV Power IIIPiercing or Multishot! WTH!!! Since 2017 PS4 Fishing is rediculous.  NO Respiration, no unbreaking.
