minecraft pig turns black when saddle is given

ok so when I put a saddle on a pig, it turns pitch black and there is no way to get it back to normal colour. i do not know why this happens (picture below has normal pig, black pig and black pig with grumm name. i also have no additinonal texture packs or behaviour packs
