I just got a new keyboard and wanted to play minecraft with it but when I got onto minecraft it refused to respond i deleted it and reinstalled it but now when i press play it just freezes and crashes

I just got a new keyboard and wanted to play minecraft with it but when I got onto minecraft it refused to respond i deleted it and reinstalled it but now when i press play it just freezes and crashes. I messaged microsoft but still have no answer any ideas to help please reply.
