All of my animals disappeared in my Survival world. Even my dog

All of my animals disappeared from my survival world. I have one cow left when I had all animals and was breeding and killing for meat. My dog(wolf) also disappeared which took me a long time to get. My dog was also sat inside so I know it didn't jump off something and die.
