Block lag in the nether (blocks reappear when mining)

Here's the steps
1. Build a Nether Portal
2. Start Mining, once you start mining it looks like the block isn't mining when you mine, and sometimes you mine it too quickly, the game won't be able to register that mine, which makes you remine again, which wears down your tools faster
