Can not type in any typing area (ex. Signs, chat, new world creation, etc.)

Whenever I play on Minecraft Win 10 Edition Beta on my laptop, I can not type in any given area where I should be able to type. For example, when I want to create a new world, I can not type in the name that I want nor can I type in a seed that I would like. Can you guys please fix this bug? If so, thank you in advance.
