Cannot rename items on anvil

I wanted to rename items for my sorting system on my realm, but when I enter any text in the text box, the output slot of the anvil GUI remains empty, hence the item can't be renamed.

 

How to reproduce:

-Use anvil

-Insert item in left input slot

-Enter text in text box
