Keyboard keeps freezing on a world and on the hive it won't let me move.

basically when I try to use my keybaord with an otg cable my keybaord just doesn't work it works on other apps but not on Minecraft. On the hive other keys work like 1234 (hotbar keys) and q and e but like I can't move I've tried changing the keys but I still can't move.
