Unable to apply purchased skins in Bedrock

Hi

I've purchased a few skins for my character in my Minecraft Bedrock （Windows 10) which is updated to the latest edition. However, I'm not able to apply them and every time I am equipped with one when I return to the previous screen the skin just randomly switches. And after the first round when I went back in all the purchased skins are gone. Currently, the only character with a working skin is the one I've created a while ago and I'm afraid to do changes to it least the same thing happens.
