block placing and it takes them away

So I'm building a road around "Disneyland" and when I place bricks from the wrong angle it pulls them out again. It's very annoying! I should be able to "stand" at any angle and place bricks anywhere I want.

Besides this I can't hold down the place button and place water bricks fast. I have to put one at a time. I am building an ocean between several islands and it is taking forever!

Please fix both problems!
