Character Creator skins not working on Windows 10

I spent about $6 to create a custom skin on Windows and any time I go into the game it switches me to default. I checked my account setting so I can use all skins but it still puts me as steve. Not sure if there is something I am missing but I'm feeling kinda scammed right now.
