Cannot use Xperia Play gamepad

After updating to 0.6.0 and using the gamepad on Xperia Play, I am unable to move or perform any actions, I can only look around. Switching to touch screen controls works and I can move and play the game normally using the touch screen, but the game is completely unplayable on both existing saves and new saves and both creative and survival mode when using the gamepad.
