I cant join friend worlds.

I woke up one random morning to a error message on my home screen which summarised that I could not play with friends or do realms because of how my Microsoft account was set up and that I did not allow multiplayer. I thought it was a bug so I went ahead and did all the steps given to me hoping that it would fix. Bu when I logged back on the error message was still there. Has anyone else had this and do you know how to fix it?
