Editions button causing freezing on PS4.

I own a PS4, and choose to play the editions version because I understand the redstone mechanics, which is why I became quite annoyed when my editions button on the Home Screen stopped working. When I would press it, the game would go completely silent and freeze. I left it for 10 minutes and nothing happened.
