Can't download from store

Cannot download anything from the Minecraft store after it's been purchased. Get an error screen telling me I do not have enough space on my system when in fact I have over half of my 1tb system storage free. Tried everything I could even deleting and reinstalling the game to no effect. Kind of irritating that I'm spending money on a game I cannot use the items I'm paying for.
