World does not save

I was creating a game in my world on my Xbox Series X and I quit and saved because I had to leave. A few days later I came back on my Xbox One and most of my progress was gone. I thought nothing of it considering that I was on a different console. But a few days later I came back to it on my Xbox Series X, and most of my progress was not there. I have only had this problem once.
