Mob spawning in my house and around with torches down everywhere.

I'm having a huge problem with mobs spawning all around my house, while torches are properly down. It's so bad to the point they spawn inside while torches are down. I watch them spawn on top on areas where I put the torches down at and they keep spawning mostly zombies, creepers, and spiders and some enderman and witches sometimes. The house is next to some caves but those are plugged up and there spawning ridiculously all on my property I had to build a fence because the torches not helping.
