Minecraft fails to start

Hello!

I've just reinstalled Windows 10 on my pc and I'm having problems with playing Minecraft for Windows.

When I start the game I get a window and inside the window I see the Minecraft text logo and a progressbar. It gets to 36% before closing down the window. See attachment "Skjermbilde.PNG". I've tried it a couple of times and i belive it's crashing.

I head over to Windows event logs and sure enough there is a crash report. See attachment "Skjermbilde2.PNG".

What is wrong here? This is a fresh install of Windows 10 and I've got all the updates installed. I even have other games installed; StarCraft 2, Battlefield 4, Overwatch, Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition and more. ALL starts and plays well.

I have tried uinstalling and installing Minecraft a couple of times without any luck.

RAM: 8GB
GPU: 1660 Ti, Nvidia driver 496.13

 

SOLUTION:

Install "Media Feature Pack for Windows 10 N" and restart.
