since the new mincrosoft edge update mods do not work

so basically, i loaded up Minecraft and play a world with modifications. and the game crashes every so often it says sometime that Minecraft needs to be re-installed and i do believe that it has to do with Xbox upgrading from Internet Explorer to Microsoft edge.
