Game is Freezing

Hi, I play on the Nintendo Switch Lite and for all purposes I have the most updated version of Minecraft on this device. Recently, after the new update, I have been having trouble with the game screen freezing on me. I will be playing and the screen will freeze and I have to try and go to the home screen back and forth til it un freezes. This was all after the new update. Thanks
