Loading into Minecraft PE on my phone takes horrendously long, mostly "loading resources"

When trying to play one of my own worlds on Minecraft, (experiments on but happens with it when they're off to) it will take a very very long time to load into it generally taking 2+ minutes if it works at all which sometimes it won't. I usually am dead by the time it loads into the world and I know it is not the internet connection because that works perfectly and it's a world on my phone (no internet required) my game is up to date, and this has happened for a while but has gotten worse recently.
