Water generating Above Lava in Caves

In the new experimental gameplay for Caves and Cliff (not the beta) a pool of water was found generated above patches of lava. The lava had also not turned into obsidian unless updated. Expected result would be to either stop this from occurring or force the lava to update and become obsidian.
