villagers dissapearing from trading hall

 villagers disappeared from trading hall, where there logged out and when came back they where gone. is a square hall one side plus a couple down either edge , maybe chunk border? they where in boxes with their workstation and trapdoor too keep them in and were in water. its also a iron farm.
