Unable to connect to world

I can't join my friend's world, I tried signing in and out multiple times as well as uninstalling and re installing. Watched a lot of videos about fixing it, none of it worked, switched off all background apps, none of the methods fixed my problem. I'm using Windows 10. If anyone has the solutions to this, please help me out. Thanks!
