Minecraft bedrock on ps4 is saving data as .bin files not .mcworld files

All of my saved files are in the .bin format not the correct .mcworld format. I bought & downloaded minecraft from the playstation store in 2020 so should definatly of got the bedrock edition not legacy. How can I change this or are you deliberatly mis-selling this because it is on playstation not a microsoft product?
