Boat Disappears after getting off of it.

When I'm riding a boat and I press a or b to get off it, it just disappears. And when something is on the boat like a villager it also disappears but it doesn't always happen like if I'm in the boat and moving the boat and get off it disappears but sometimes when I'm not moving in the boat it doesn't disappear.
