People unable to join world. Stuck on "locating server"

Almost every time people try to join my world they always get stuck on the "locating server" screen and can't join. We've tried all the solutions: unloading the chunks, checking our settings, etc. Nothing ever works. My world on Bedrock is over 200MB, is that the problem? It's genuinely getting to the point where it's impossible to play because of this problem. And to reiterate, we've tried all the workarounds. How do we fix this it's getting really aggravating.
