on pocket edition my pets keep disappearing as well as birds duplicating. i just want my pets back

sometimes when i log in my pets disappear. they don't come back. it doesn't matter if they're tamed or have saddles or name tagged they just disappear in both creative and survival in pocket edition. i can be sitting right next to them, logout then log in and they're gone.
