I can't retrieve my old world

I changed the location after i installed minecraft, but nothing happened. After i logged in, they show me "Did your worlds disappear? Try changing your storage location:

File storage location"

Then i changed the file location but nothing happened. Why my progress im my world won't be saved to my the Microsoft account ? Since i loosed many worlds and i don't want to lose more worlds since my last world i worked hard and i spend long time on it.
