Singleplayer Lag

Ever since the release of 1.17, Caves and Cliffs-Part 1, my singleplayer worlds have had lag issues similar to that of realms. Mobs occasionally rubberband and blocks will break and then be immediately replaced. The issue is prominent in the Nether but is still common in the Overworld and The End.
