Unable to load and use skins

On Nintendo switch, since the 1.17 update, many already owned skin packs have been unable to be loaded and selected as a usable skin. After clicking on a skin in the bottom bar it just has an infinite loading screen that as far as I can tell never loads given that I let it sit there for a hour. Some skin pack however still work and load fine while others, the ones I want to use , haven't worked in a long time.
