Unable to "Sign in to Playstation Network"

Once Minecraft has been loaded up, i get a button of the lefthand side of the screen with "Sign into Playstation Network". I can press that button any amount of times and it solves nothing. While it its there, i am unable to access the store or any online friend's games, and it fails to load some of my worlds, seeing as i cant access the resource packs to use some of them.. I have ensured that I am actually signed in to PSN. I have tried uninstalling the game, and it is still there. It seems i cant actually play minecraft until this is solved. All other issues/reports on this issue seem ot be ignored or uresolved. I'd really appreciate some help with this. Thanks
