Unable to change skin, enter marketplace and enter servers/ realms

I am trying to play Minecraft but i am unable to change my skin, join server/ realms and enter the marketplace. i am also unable to see my achievements and purchased texture packs. I also have Xbox live gold and have my settings set so i can play online
