Dressing room issue - no skin is applied

In the Dressing room, i cant change the default "Steve" skin; whatever items i choose, be it for body or style and everything in this menus, the Steve skin remains unchanged. If i clink on a new item to be added, say the anxious eyes, Steve does the animation like he is trying the new look on, but the actual skin never changes. I have also tried changing the colors of the items that have this option with no different result. The only new skin i can add is a full purchased one that replaces Steve altogether.
