Unable to join any friends or LAN worlds/servers and they can't join me.

Every time I try to join a server it says unable to connect. The same happens to all my friends. This is happening to many other players as they are reviewing the app on the App Store. Please fix this as I have just bought the app and I am annoyed to have wasted $7 on a game I can't enjoy with friends.
