Armor stand despawning

I placed down seven armor stands to hold my 3 sets of netherite, then logged off a few hours later.
When I returned, all of the armor stands and all of the armor had despawned with no trace of them ever exsisting.

I can provide no image of the armor stands as they no longer exist.
