when i try to make a new world with the mod i already bought it will say i dont have enough space even though i have plenty

so when I try to make a new world with a mod I find that it will tell me that I have to redownload it and when does it tells me that it also tells me that I dont have enough space even tho I have plenty the space is like 23MB for the mod
