"Clear Tool Bar" doesnt appear

When I or a few other people I know go into the materials section in creative, instead of showing that pressing X clears everything from the tools list of stuff you can hold it says "select Recipe" or "take half". I have a few other friends that also play on the latest update on Xbox 1, and they are having the same issues.
