Entity despawn

Entity’s that shouldn’t have despawned have despawned. The entity’s in question, named villagers, named cats, and minecarts with hoppers. This has happened before on a chunk by chunk basis, now it has despawned all entity’s around my base when I loaded up my world this morning.
