Directional pad, sneak button, chat button and pause button stuck on screen after closing game

When I close a world, for about 1-2 seconds a black screen will pop up, with the D-pad, sneak button, chat button, and pause button all stuck there. It does not get stuck forever, but it is particularly annoying and not meant to be there.

How to replicate error:
1. Make and open a world
2. Close the world
3. There is the broken screen.
