Buckets of Tropical Fish do not retain their colors after being released

When I retrieve a tropical fish using a bucket and spawn back the fish, they come out of the bucket in grayscale - their original colouring is lost.

This happens in both survival and creative, and on both realms and locally on my own xbox world.
