The End Sky Changes - Blue Grainy Void

When you walk away from the Ender Dragon, the black void of The End changes into this grainy blue void mess. 

Also weird to mention is that mobs from the overworld start spawning in this out of region area.

Mobs that spawn in particular are Creepers, Spiders and Skeletons.

 

I would like to call to attention yet another bug report that mentions this very issue as well:
