Sometimes Sand won't fall down by placing a torch below it

This issue only happens like one in 15 times or less.
So I was just breaking the sand wall using torches so after breaking a few walls I face this issue where sand is stuck in air.

By the way breaking of wall can be again done by just breaking the sand above torch.
