Diamond ore very common with Caves & Cliffs generation

I noticed in a new survival world that diamond ore is extremely easy to find. I found around 70 within an hour of wandering around caves at low levels.

To confirm I generated a new world and the same behavior persists. heres a video.

I don't know if its intentional but it seems excessive.
